THE Millers Barn CHAPS Society played the final round of their Eclectic competition.

There was an exciting finish, as all the competitors strived to get the best score for their last six holes.

When the final results were in and the scores checked, first past the post was Dennis Bruce, returning a gross score of 69 - a nett 56.

The nett winner was Rod Russell, returning a score of 51.

At the same time, the golfers also played a strokeplay competition and the winner on the day was Mark Adams, carding 81-19-62.

In second place and losing out on countback was Gerry Smyth, carding 83-21-62.

Third place went to Eclectic winner Bruce, with 76-13-63.

The front nine winner was Gerry Smyth, with a nett 29, and the back nine winner was Frank Warbey, with a nett 30.
