FRINTON Lawn Tennis Club's ladies' D team secured a 9-0 victory at home to Spring Lane.
Deborah Lawrence and Lesley Sacre won 8-1, 8-1, 8-0, while Mary Milner and Susie Smith, playing as a pair for the first time, triumphed 8-1, 8-2, 8-0.
Pauline Mcgrath and Barbara Davidson then took to the court and won 8-4, 8-1, 8-4.
Captain Milner said: "It's only fair to give all your players a chance, so I mixed things up to make things more challenging and interesting.
"The gamble paid off as the ladies delivered in style."
In Colchester and District League men's division two, Frinton B beat Colchester Officers Club C thanks to an impressive 8-1 victory.
Frinton president and men's B captain Martin Tinsley paired up with Tony Sharman, delivering match scores of 8-5, 8-3, 8-5.
Youth players Louis Parker and Max Parr-May also pulled off a hat-trick with scores of 8-4, 8-5, 8-6.
Graham McNamara and Greg Curtis narrowly lost 8-7 on a tie-break but won their other two matches 8-2, 8-6.
Both captains were pleased with the teams' efforts and achievements and their thanks go out to all participants who ensured the matches were thoroughly enjoyable.
