FC CLACTON manager Glenn Eldridge says he and his team can only be judged with a full squad available.
The Seasiders have begun the new season with a pair of 2-1 defeats, against Thetford on Saturday and neighbours Stanway Rovers on Tuesday.
However, they have had a catalogue of players missing, with the likes of Aaron Condon, Jack Clampin, Kyelan Marvell, Wayne Chapman, Liam Daniels, Stewart McFarlane, Louie Newland and Lee Clowsley missing either one or both Thurlow Nunn League fixtures.
As a result, Eldridge is urging followers to reserve judgement on his side.
“If we’re down the bottom when we’ve got everyone back, I’m doing something wrong,” he said.
“But at the moment I don’t really feel we can be judged.
“It’s a horrific injury list and I haven’t got any money to go out and get new players in.
“We’ve just got to keep working hard."
