The Golf Green ward vote has finally been verified and Labour have GAINED a seat from the independent candidate Kevin Watson.
Dan Casey (Lab) and Nick Brown (Lab) will be councillors for the area, which includes the village of Jaywick.
John Chittock (Con) narrowly missed out, only two votes behind Mr Brown.
The result was declared after three re-counts.
