Tendring Talk has been informed by a Tendring councillor (who shall remain anonymous) that a councillor made a suggestion this week that it should open a radio station.

The mind boggles.

For a start what would they call it? “Taxpayers Cash FM?”

We will refrain from passing further comment.

However, our ‘deepthroat’ councillor said the idea had led to much mirth with regard to which councillors could perform which functions and what could be on Council FM’s playlist of records.

The councillor suggested a couple to us and here are more of our own. If you can think of better ones, or even ones about the paper, drop us a line at cf.gazette@nqe.com or at the usual address.

Money for nothing by Dire Straits.

Promises, Promises by Naked Eyes Made of money by Adam Ant Road to nowhere by Talking Heads.
