Flower Club.
THE club held a very successful open day on June 7. In the morning there was an illustrated talk by Rosemary Hawthorne, also known as the Knicker Lady', on fashions in underwear. After a very good Ploughmans Lunch, Neil Whittaker, was the afternoons demonstrator. Neil is an award winning florist with a shop in Manchester, his flowers were exquisite, and the arrangements out of this world.
We are planning another open day, perhaps in September 2009. We look forward to seeing you then.
