AT the meeting on March 14, Kathy gave a report on the group meeting at Southend on March 6.
Our speaker for the evening was Patrick Thompson who took us through the royal year, showing us the pomp and ceremony of state occasions such as the opening of Parliament and the bestowing of the Order of the Garter.
We are having a beetle drive on March 27 to which all our welcome.
Our next meeting is on April 10 at 7pm.
