W.I.
OUR speaker for the last meeting was member, Sheila Banks whose talk was what a difference a day makes', about her time working in a psychiatric hospital.
She told us about her nervous she was working there at first and some of the events that happened, some were very funny but others were sad and moving.
Sheila worked there for over twenty years and said her work was very rewarding.
The thought for the day was village shop' a nostalgic look at how shops used to be.
Our recent soup and pancake lunch was well attended. Our competition for this meeting was won by Mary Hull.
We are holding a jumble sale on February 23 from 2pm.
