WINSTON Churchill now has some colourful company at Frinton station.
Painted by Essex graffiti artist David Nash, there are three new murals with a railway theme at the station.
Funded by the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership, the latest works include one with an early electric train and another of a steam passenger compartment.
They add to two earlier works David painted a couple of years ago, featuring regular Frinton visitor Winston Churchill and one of 125 years of the rails reaching Frinton.
Both Essex County Council and rail operators Abbellio Greater Anglia have praised the artwork.
It complements recent new wooden-style benches replacing metal ones, adding to the station’s makeover.
