THERE were more kippers then Ukippers at the House of Commons when a Clacton fishmonger wowed MPs with his award-winning food.
Ken Green joined food firms from across East Anglia who were impressing politicians with their local produce.
The veteran fisherman started trading more than 65 years ago and has been supplying smoked mackerel, haddock, trout and kippers to the East of England Co-op for the past five years.
MPs were invited to “savour the flavour” at Tuesday's Eastern Promise event.
Ken runs a shop in Clacton High Street with wife Desi and stepson Paul and has been shortlisted for the Co-op’s Producer of the Year awards.
